ABOUT HIGHLAND HAVEN

There is much to be done in our community and this organization exists for such a time as this.  We believe it is our destiny to impact this region in a positive way as we empower our community to reach their maximum potential.  It is imperative that we build capacity and capability in those we serve so that they may reach their potential.  The organization’s Core Values are Justice, Integrity, and Hope.  Our Credo is “Building Bridges of Hope and Anchoring the Community.”

Our History

In December 2000, a 501C3 non-profit Corporation called Highland Haven was formed. Highland Haven serves distressed communities in North/Northeast Portland with several social service programs. It is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering youth. Highland Haven transforms the lives of promising youth and their families through dynamic, collaborative programs that create a safe environment for self-directed and empowered individuals.
