Thank you for visiting our website.  We are proud of the history of Highland Haven and what we have accomplished over the years to be a bridge of hope to thousands of families.  We also look forward to a bright future with an ever-expanding organization to meet the needs of the community today. 

 

Highland Haven exists to serve distressed communities with several different social service and educational programs.  Highland Haven is a nonprofit organization focused on building a community, educating, and empowered the underserved.  Highland Haven transforms the lives of promising youth and their families through bridging them through dynamic programs which creates a safe environment and fosters personal growth. The Highland Haven strategy is built on the Purpose Statement, “Be a bridge between those in need and the resources that can help them.”  

 

Our Mission is “To increase awareness and spearhead hope within our local underserved community through establishing social, educational, cultural, and economic opportunities.”  Our Vision is, “Reimagining the Future and Changing Lives.”  We have developed a comprehensive strategy to complete the mission and vision through three (3) Major Priorities: Education; Transformation; and Sustainability. 

 

In our strategy, we identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to our mission and vision. Further, we elaborate on our challenges, constraints, and risks.  There is much to be done in our community and this organization exists for such a time as this.  We believe it is our destiny to impact this region in a positive way as we empower our community to reach their maximum potential.  It is imperative that we build capacity and capability in those we serve so that they may reach their potential.  The organization’s Core Values are Justice, Integrity, and Hope.  Our Credo is “Building Bridges of Hope and Anchoring the Community.” 

 

We have the ultimate responsibility to provide for community development and empowerment. Our goal to the maximum extent possible, is to equip, develop, educate, and provide a means to needed resources to execute the mission and vision we’ve been given.
